I'm glad to be a member of this new group. My work in sound is with sound-based therapy. My Davis Model of Sound Intervention(R) is recognized as the model for administering a sound-based therapy for learning, development, and/or wellness. The model is based on "The Tree of Sound Enhancement Therapy(R)" which is the flow chart for my Diagnostic Evaluation for Therapy Protocol (R), which tells if, when, how long, and in what order any or all of the many sound-based therapies can be appropriately applied. The Davis Center, located in Succasunna, NJ, provides the diagnostics and therapies for intervention. I am working on more generalized programs and systems for the future based upon "The Davis Addendum to the Tomatis Effect" which demonstrates a more in depth response of the Voice-Ear-Brain Connection first identified by Dr. Alfred Tomatis. Wonderful to connect with you this way. We didn't meet but were both presenting in Santa Fe at one of their sound healing conferences several years ago so I've know of your work for some time. Yes, would love to hear about your book when it is ready. I have 2 books published Sacred Space-Sacred Sound: The Acoustic Mysteries of Holy Places and also Song and Silence: Voicing the Soul. Voice is the main component of my work through I was a primary trainer for the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music many years ago. I'm sure we have a lot of friends in common, not to mention resonance of interests.
